New Vanquisher-supporting cards revealed.

Hey! I’m not dead, sorry.

Umm… No I ain’t sorry. Scratch that

Anyways, new Thunderstrike cards out of the blue (not really),  and 1 of the previous reveals worth mentioning.

Firstly, the long due analysis on Plasmatron Dragon.

G-BT12-078-C_(Sample).png

Plasmatron Dragon

Skill Breakdown:

[ACT](RC)[1/Turn] Thunderstrike 4(This ability is active when your opponent’s bind zone has four or more cards):[Counter Blast (1)] This unit gets [Power]+2000 for each card in your opponent’s bind zone until end of turn.

Yay! A Cloudmaster whose skill can be used each turn! As you know, Cloudmaster Dragon gains 2k for each bound card and restricts intercepts only on-call. That alone killed it. A temporary card is not useful for the deck, as you lose out the pressure next turn, and thus needs replacement after a turn. The restrictions are kinda easy now; Raigeki 4 is kinda easy to get with all the binding the deck does now, and CBs are a joke, especially now that SPARKING, Hardrod and previously Vianne existed. All in all, a great card.

Oh yeah, doesn’t have GB. Early game looking good with Hardrod and this guy.

Also is a Common.

[AUTO] Generation Break 1:When this unit is placed on (RC), your opponent chooses a card from his or her drop zone, and binds it face up.

This is what is known as the “icing on the cake”. An already good card, and this skill is quite good too. On-call, GB1, binds a card from drop for free. I know what I said about on-calls, but free binding is always great. This is like Rockclimb but free. Damn, deckcrafting is getting harder with each new reveal. More on this at the bottom.

The new cards which were revealed today: Smash Boxer Dragon and  Strong Lightning Circular Blade, Gliselle (Damn that’s a big name).

G-BT12-040-R_(Sample).png
God his art is sexy

Smash Boxer Dragon

Skill Breakdown:

[CONT](RC) Generation Break 1:During the battle that this unit boosted a unit with the thunderstrike ability, that unit and this unit cannot be chosen by the effects of your opponent’s cards.

Resist to an entire column on boosting a TS unit. No explanation needed.

OhwhoamIkidding. Narukami is so not known for hand advantage or field presence, and this guy helps in not getting annihilated by Advance Guard, Denial or in mirror fights. God, don’t you hate it when a 39k MAD is attacking, and a Denial Griffin pops out of the blue? Shocking (no pun intended, or I guess semi-intended), but that shit happens when you play sometimes. After Ziegenburg, of course you’ll see a lot of Kagero now. That’s for another day though.

I like this unit. Will play him, no questions.

[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1 Thunderstrike 3(This ability is active when your opponent’s bind zone has three or more cards):[Put this unit into your soul] At the end of the battle that this unit boosted, if you have a vanguard with “Vanquisher” in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card, and Counter Charge (1).

The selling point on this card. Or just for me cause I’m really biased to Jeffery-ish units. Ya know, the Gold Paladin one?

Restricted by Raigeki 3 and GB1 (unfortunately, but we can’t be busted now.), after boosting, put him to soul, draw 1 and CC1. Exceptionally more good than SPARKING’s soulcharge as it is selective, while SPARKINGs TS4 is not selective. CC1 is good, but I doubt we’ll need more counterchargers when we have SPARKING, Hardrod and Vianne. The draw is always welcome.

I don’t know about you people, but I’m surely running it. N…no, it…it’s not for the art only.

G-BT12-018-RR_(Sample)
Thunder Waifu!

Skill Breakdown:

[AUTO](RC):When this unit is attacked or chosen due to an effect of your opponent’s cards, your opponent chooses a card from his or her drop zone, and binds it face up.

Tit for tat. When this beauty is chosen or attacked by an opponent, like retires, paralysis, mirror bounds, etc. you in turn can bind a card from the drop. Like I said; an eye for an eye. Except I didn’t say that. XD.

I have to test her out.

[CONT](RC) Thunderstrike 5(This ability is active when your opponent’s bind zone has five or more cards):During your turn, this unit gets [Power]+9000, and “[ACT](RC)[1/Turn]:[Counter Blast (1)] If you have a vanguard with “Vanquisher” in its card name, choose one of your opponent’s (RC), and until end of turn, when this unit attacks a vanguard, this unit battles both the vanguard and the units on the chosen (RC).”.

Hot damnnnn. This is goooood. TS5, a previously dreamable requirement, now is very easily attainable. After attaining this requirement, she gains up 9k and another ACT skill, through which by paying one CB, you can attack the vanguard as well as a chosen rearguard when you attack a vanguard.

Sooo good. This is so Brawler-ish that I’m very happy for some Brawler-like support, even if it’s not direct.

Also the 9k is like 3 bound cards on a VOLTAGE turn, so that’s another plus point. 9/10

Oh, look. No GB. 10/10 12/10.

Wow, so may good cards are out now. I have to test them.

Also, I can’t say that I’m gonna be online anywhere, either on Reddit or Discord. So if you wanna talk to me, PM me on Reddit at u/ScharhrotDarkness, and I’ll ping in to you if I log in once in a blue moon.

Thanks for reading!

Dragonpedia: Vanquisher Version

In today’s weekly bites, we got the official reveals of the new Vanquishers an a new starter. Thus Vanquisher is the first strider to officially have three shockingly different strides. One is rearguard dependent (VOLTAGE), one is purely vanguard focused (VMAX), and the newest one is a fusion of both: VBUSTER.

A. Dragonpedia Archive Listings:

G-BT12-006-RRR_(Sample).png

Name: Conquering Supreme Dragon, Dragonic Vanquisher “VBUSTER”

Status: Stride

Title(s): Conquering Supreme Dragon; VBUSTER

Set: G BT12

Race: Thunder Dragon

Clan: Narukami

B: Skill Breakdown:

[ACT](VC)[1/Turn]:[Soul Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone with the same card name as this unit, and turn it face up] Your opponent chooses one of his or her rear-guards and one card from his or her drop zone, and binds them face up. If the number of your rear-guards is greater than the number of your opponent’s rear-guards, choose up to three of your units, and they get [Power]+3000 until end of turn.

Hmm, so the first skill is quite interesting. For a soulblast and a persona flip, you can potentially bind off two units, giving you a good edge on various previous problems that involved having a good first stride and also sets up further turns.

We’ve never had anything that binds two cards straight forward, without, ya know, having any on-hit restrictions (Zorras, VOLTAGE), or Thunderstrike restrictions (Voltechzapper). So people, we have ourselves quite a potent, powerful first stride right here.

If you are fighting a mirage clan such as Pale Moon, Granblue, etc. then you can get off one bind from the drop atleast.. The 3k to three units is also pretty good for more power columns.

Also messes up drop zone reliant clans such as Granblue and Luard to some degree.

[CONT](VC) Generation Break 3 Thunderstrike 7:All of the units in your front row get [Power]+5000, and this unit gets [Critical]+1/Drive+1.

The icing on the cake. It makes me so very happy. 5k to front row, combined with the previous skill’s 3k, makes a total of 8k boost to your selected units, which mostly will be front row units.

The critical is honestly great in the deck. You get so much pressure, it’s not funny. Wouldn’t be worth wasting him, but the Raigeki is high enough, so doesn’t matter.

The quad drive….hmm. X-Gallop was the first, followed by Rebellion, Gancelot, this guy, and…… I don’t remember others. Everyone X-Gallop now.

Jokes aside, VBUSTER’s quad drive gives us a bit more hand advantage, and is pretty aggressive with the crit as well.

C. Final Verdict:

Dum, dum, dum!

10/10 great card.

I highky recommend you to get 4 of him. He outclasses every other first stride for Narukami, and also is useful in EVERY SINGLE Narukami build.

The art is fucking sexy also.

A. Dragonpedia Archive Listings:

G-BT12-008-RRR_(Sample).png

Name: Dragonic Vanquisher “SPARKING”

Status: Strider

Title(s): SPARKING

Set: G BT12

Race: Thunder Dragon

Clan: Narukami

B. Skill Breakdown:

[AUTO](VC) Thunderstrike 4 (This ability is active when your opponent’s bind zone has four or more cards):At the beginning of your ride phase, Counter Charge (1) or Soul Charge (1), your opponent chooses a card from his or her drop zone, and binds it face up.

THIS. This is the skill we’ve been waiting for, albeit restricted by Raigeki 4 (Am I the only one who thinks Raigeki is cooler than Thunderstrike?)At the beginning of the ride phase, you can CC1 or SC1. This alone makes this guy a must run as a main. Vanq decks can be quite CB heavy if not managed properly, and VBUSTER and Fatine (Idk why I mentioned her) use soul, which may add up to a lot . So, resource management is always welcome. The bind from drop is also quite good, as one bind = 3k on VOLTAGE turns, and attaining Raigeki 7 is also a thing.

[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] When your G unit Stride, you may pay the cost. If you do, your opponent chooses a card from his or her drop zone, and binds it face up. Then, if the G unit you Stride has the thunderstrike ability, your opponent chooses one of his or her rear-guards, retires it, and binds it face up.

The on-stride is pretty solid too. More bind from drop = more headache to dropzone dependent decks. Very plain, straightforward and AWESOME skill we deserved.

Moving on. The other part activates when you Stride a Thunderstrike unit. Then you can retire and bind one rearguard. This part of the skill can be only used with three units right now: VMAX, Voltechzapper and VBUSTER, the Three Vs. So the probability of you getting off this skill is a tad low, although I do appreciate it. Two binds for one CB is good. Also helps boost up the Raigeki count faster.

C. Final Verdict:

9.5/10

Insta 4-off. No questions asked. Although I do lose out on original’s defensive GB2, this guy is on another level altogether.

Art’s great too. Vanquisher always looks good.

A. Dragonpedia Archive Listing:

G-BT12-082-C_(Sample).png

Name: Hardrod Dracokid (seriously Bushi?)

Status: Forerunner

Title(s): N/A

Set: G BT12

Race: Thunder Dragon

B. Skill Breakdown:

[ACT](RC):[[Rest] this unit] Your opponent chooses a card from his or her drop zone, and binds it face up. If he or she could not bind a card, you Counter Charge (1), choose one of your units with the thunderstrike ability, and it gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn.

HOLY THUNDER. An actually god-awesome, no GB restricted unit, and that too spammable AF. Damn, Bushi, if this is the support you promised us, then I hope that Bushi maintains the norm now.

This outclasses Ascetic and Wildrun by a long shot. So much bind power, and resting>retiring anytime, anyday. Starts usage from turn one in theory. It’s a win-win either way: You CC1 and give 3k to a Raigeki unit if your opponent can’t bind, although the game flow dictates both players to have some sort of drop zone presence, more if it relies heavily on drop (I know I’ve mentioned it for about three times by now, bear with me.)

[ACT](RC) Thunderstrike 4 (This ability is active when your opponent’s bind zone has four or more cards):[Counter Blast (1) & Put this unit into your soul] Choose one of your units, and it gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn. Your opponent chooses one of his or her rear-guards, retires it, and binds it face up.

The other skill is something I personally would not use, but it exists, so yeah. By Raigeki 4, by paying a CB and putting it to soul, your opponent retires and binds a unit, and also gives 3k to a unit. Not worth much, I rather like the first skill, but this skill is very good too.

C. Final Verdict:

10/10 Full marks.

A 4 off starter for me. His usability is too high for me to ignore

Sometimes, Bushi messes up bad. But I guess it really wanted to rectify this mistake, and they fulfilled their promises to us, that Thunderstrike will get a massive boost.

Thanks Bushi,

Question of the Day: What is cooler? Raigeki or Thunderstrike? Let me know in he comments!

That’ll be it for today. Have a good day people.

~~SCHARHROTDARKNESS~~

Scharhrot’s Crazy Lab: Let’s Mod keyword/CAC: Thunderstrike

Yo people!

Scharhrot here with an all new post, this time modding a less-liked keyword: Thunderstrike. Thunderstrike was brought into Narukami as it’s personal keyword, but fizzled out due to it not being compatible with older sub clans or decks.

But in this post, I am not making the keyword compatible with older subclans, I’ll make that clear right now.

Thunderstrike itself is a count of bound cards in your opponent’s bind zone. This ability isn’t all that new. A certain archetype (read: Dunagree)did that before it was cool, but it bound it’s own cards.

So now, I will return to it’s roots and make Thunderstrike git gud.

The cards that made me write this post are  Ground Breaking General, Bisham and Conquering Supreme Dragon, Closer Dragon. Bisham is used as a support Grade 3 for Vanq decks (tbh I didn’t know it existed), and Closer Dragon is the newly revealed GB8 for Narukami. Notice how it’s skill reads “in both players bind zone”? That thing got me thinking.

What if this is a sign that Bushi is going to make Narukami bind itself? I mean, Bisham does that and kinda helps in multi attacking, but what if this was a sign for something…… more.

The way I see it, Thunderstrike may morph into a multiattack/control clan. How, you ask? So let’s have a look at some of my (borken) CACs below:

Dragonic Vanquisher “RAIDEN”

G3/11000/Twin Drive

AUTO VC GB3 Thunderstike 5 (CB1) When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may choose any number of your rearguards, retire them, and bind them face up. For each card bound by this effect, draw a card. Then, if the number of rearguards bound by this effect is three or more, each players chooses two cards from their drop zone, binds them face up, and you may CC2.

AUTO VC At the beginning of your turn, you may bind up to two cards from your drop zone face up. If you do, CC1/SC1. Then, if you bind two cards, until the end of the turn, your units’ Thunderstrike ability changes to “Thunderstrike X- This ability is active if you have X face up cards in your bind zone” and draw a card.

AUTO VC (CB1 & SB1) During your turn, when your G Unit Stride, you may pay the cost. If you do, bind upto three cards from your drop zone, and your opponent binds the same number of cards from his/her drop zone face up. Choose one of your vanguards, and until the end of the turn, it gets “CONT VC Thunderstrike 3 All your units in the front row get +1k for each face up card in each players’ bind zone”

LOL, I don’t mind if its broken. So with that, you’ll have a fairly decent idea about the route Thunderstrike CAN go on. If you don’t mind, here are some more CACs:

Conquering Supreme Command Dragon , Apokalypse Volt Dragon

G4/15000+/Triple Drive

STRIDE

AUTO VC 1/TURN: (Persona Flip) When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card, and until the end of the turn, this unit gets “AUTO VC At the end of the battle your rearguard attacked a vanguard, you may retire that unit and bind it face up. If you do, choose a card from your bind zone, put it in your hand, and CC1.” And “AUTO VC Thunderstrike 5 (Bind a card from your drop zone face up) When this unit’s drive check reveals a grade 1 or greater rearguard, you may choose a card from your bind zone, call it to RC. Then, if the drive checked card has the Thunderstrike ability, you may bind that card face up, and perform another drive check. If you do, this unit loses this ability until the end of the turn”

CONT G ZONE Thunderstrike 7 (CB2 and put 2 cards from your bind zone on the bottom of your deck) When your vanguard is attacked by a unit, you may pay the cost. If you do, you may either draw 2 cards, or choose one of your opponent’s rearguards, and your opponent retires all of his/her rearguards in that column, and binds them face up.

Black Thunder Dragoon

G2/9000/Intercept

AUTO RC Thunderstrike 3 GB2 At the end of the battle this unit attacked a vanguard, you may retire this unit and bind it face up. If you do, choose a card not named “Black Thunder Dragoon” from your bind zone, and call it to RC. Then, if you have a vanguard with “Vanquisher” in it’s card name, draw a card, and the called unit gets +2k until the end of the turn.

AUTO (CB1)When this unit is placed on VC or RC, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, choose upto 2 cards among them, and bind them face up, and shuffle your deck. Then, if you bound 2 cards, search your deck for up to 1 card with “Vanquisher” in it’s card name, and put it in your hand.

Let me know your thoughts about the cards in the comments! Also, you are welcome to supplement this with your own CACs!

Until next time!

Crazy Deck Idea : Amon rush

So, I had a crazy idea today. Don’t know if anyone knew of this or anything, but just wanted to post this idea.

So, in the morning, I was playing the 3DS game (Stride to Victory) with Amons. After destroying Mamoru with Amon rush, I felt the need of making it consistent, i.e not decking out. That’s when it hit me : Serpent Charmer’s not GB reliant, meaning I can use him for the deck.

So, here is my crazy decklist :

Grade 0

x4 Amon’s Follower, Barmaid Grace (SV)

x4 Amon’s Follower, Grausam

x4 Amon’s Follower, Cruel Hand

x4 Amon’s Follower, Meteor Cracker

x4 Amon’s Follower, Hell’s Trick

x2 Amon’s Follower, Fate Collector

Grade 1

x2 Amon’s Follower, Hell’s Deal

x4 Amon’s Follower, Vlad Specula

x4 Doreen the Thruster

x2 Serpent Charmer

x2 Vroukalakas

x2 Amon’s Follower, Phu Geenlin

Grade 2

x4 Amon’s Follower, Psycho Grave

x4 Amon’s Follower, Ron Geenlin

x2 Amon’s Follower, Hell’s Nail

Now, how this deck functions :

The main cards of this deck are : Barmaid Grace, Grausam, Doreen and Psycho Grave. Honorable mentions go to Vroukalakas and all others with the Amon name.

Barmaid Grace’s skill lets you SC2, and give an Amon a CONT skill (+1k for each card in soul). This can be very powerful, and when combined with Doreen, make a huge columns. Most of your soulcharging takes place in the main phase, anyways. Also, it’s reusable, meaning you can use it every turn (as long as you have CB)

Talking about Doreen, she is the main power gainer of the deck. For every SC in the main phase, she gets +3k power. This power really adds up, and helps to make huge columns. The only thing I do not like about this card is that it only powers up in the main phase

Grausam, when soulcharged , can retire an opponent’s rearguard. Psycho Grave’s skill is on-call/ride. The +5k boost helps it to make columns easily. The SC is just a bonus.

So, this deck may or may not have potential. A great problem will be of CB management, because the deck likes to eat CB’s a LOT.

Peace Out

[Weekly Bits Next] G CHB03 and OTT cards

This is the today’s weekly bits.

ss2016-12-13at11.31.21.jpg

Rough Deity Spirit Sword, Susanoo

[AUTO](VC) Generation Break 2 Oracle (This ability is active when you have five or more cards in your hand):At the beginning of your ride phase, look at the top of your deck, and put it on the top or the bottom of your deck.
[AUTO](VC):At the beginning of your ride phase, if you have a face up card with “Amaterasu” or “Wakahirume” in its card name in your G zone, you may Soul Charge (1).
[AUTO](VC):[Soul Blast (2)] During your turn, when your G unit Stride, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card.

Alright….I’m not gonna sugarcoat this : This card sucks. It’s straight up bad. If we do not get good support units, G-OTT is gonna nosedive. But on the bright side, this is (may be) the only trash OTT card in the set. This means it can only get better….. right ?

ss2016-12-13at11.28.45.jpg

Divine Soul Martyr, Ikutsuhikone

[AUTO]:Forerunner
[ACT](RC) Generation Break 1 Oracle (This ability is active when you have five or more cards in your hand):[Put this unit into your soul] Counter Charge (1).
[AUTO](RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Put this unit into your soul] When your unit with the oracle ability is placed on (VC), if the number of cards in your hand is four or less, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card.

Another okayish card. He may become useful in the future. No comments for now

ss2016-12-13at11.30.11.jpg

Blessing Spirit Deity, Ame-no-Sagume

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO](VC) Oracle (This ability is active when you have five or more cards in your hand):[Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit attacks, you may pay the cost. If you do, until end of that battle, this unit gets “[AUTO](VC):When this unit’s attack hits a vanguard, draw two cards, choose a card from your hand, discard it, and Counter Charge (1)/Soul Charge (1)”.

So…..the OTT’s first Stride of this set. Kinda a let down. Carnivore Dragon, Celine, Selfes etc. are good first Strides. This card’s not much bad, again, but it’s a letdown. Good things : Sets up GB2 on first Stride, the pressure of a draw and CC1/Sc1. The most required thing in Ott is a recycler, like a Dreaming Dragon clone.

Now, the CHB03 :

eJwFwdENhCAMANBdGIBCUStuQ5CgOaWE1vhxud3vva95xmU2c6h22QD2UzKP3YrySLXYylyvkvopNvMNSTXl4y5NBfzkKBAuOKOfPBFGwHlFF0JERwuuITqCp30av832Vs3vDwXEItY-1.png

Hyppppppeeeee !!!!!

OMG….. SUPER HYPED FOR NIGHTROSE !!!!

So.. for CHB03, we have support for :

  • New Harri
  • New Nightrose
  • Nightmist (expected it)
  • Luquier/Silver Thorn
  • Nightmare Dolls
  • GHOSTIE !?

15578025_606056079593534_7077982686758689868_o.jpg

Reprints for the set :

  • Masquerade Bunny (New art shown)

  • Nightmare Dol, Juliet (Same as King Serpent)
  • King Serpent (Previously Promo only, new art)
  • Skyhigh Walker (Guess he didn’t get to change his job)
  • Sword Master Mimic (Same as King Serpent)

Then, the Special RRR Reprints :

  • Masked Magician, Harri

That’s all for this Weekly Bits Next !

Thanks for reading !

 Key Units :

Grade 0 :

G-TD08-014.png

Undying Departed, Grenache

[AUTO]:Forerunner (When a unit of the same clan rides this unit, you may call this unit to (RC))
[AUTO]:Hollow (When this unit is placed on (RC), you may have it become hollowed. If you do, retire it at the end of turn)
[AUTO] Generation Break 1 (Active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone):When this unit is put into the drop zone from (RC) due to the effect of the hollow ability, Counter Charge (2).

GRENACHE IS THE BEST STARTER. He is the best utility card that you can use. Hollow him or call something over him. Just get him to the drop zone. Then, on first Stride, call him to RC via Nightrose, hollow him, and retire him for a CC2. He replenishes resources for multi attacks.

Points :

  • Countercharges help in G-Granblue, which is quite a CB heavy deck
  • Can be used twice in a turn, thus CC 4
  • Can also include another copy in deck if SV got bound.

g-bt06-094-c

Mick the Ghostie and Family

[AUTO]:Hollow (When this unit is placed on (RC), you may have it become hollowed. If you do, retire it at the end of turn)
[AUTO] Generation Break 1:When this unit is placed on (RC) from your drop zone, if this unit is hollowed, choose one of your other units, that unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn, and this unit get “[AUTO]:When this unit is put into your drop zone, return this unit to your deck, and shuffle your deck.”.

Mick is another great stand trigger. He boosts a unit by 10k.

Just putting this out here : You cannot call Mick via Negrolily. Negrolily clearly states : “choose up to one normal unit with “Ghostie” in its card name from your drop zone, call it to an open (RC)”

Grade 1 :

G-BT06-039-R.png

Tommy the Ghostie Brothers

[AUTO]:[Choose a grade 3 card from your hand, and reveal it] When this unit is placed on (RC) from hand, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one grade 3 card with “Nightrose” in its card name, reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, shuffle your deck, choose a card from your hand, and discard it.
[CONT](Hand):While you are paying the cost for Stride, this card gets grade+2.

Tommy ? He’s just a Stride fodder……… not. In Granblue, he is one of the ways to build up your drop zone. How ? Use his on On-call skill to reveal a G3, get Nightrose, and discard a card. But that discard can become much more fearsome …… especially if the discarded card is Gast Dragon.

G-BT08-090.png

Bale the Ghostie

[AUTO] Generation Break 1:When this unit is placed on (RC) from your drop zone, this unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of turn.
[AUTO]:[Put this card on the bottom of your deck from your drop zone] When this unit is put into the drop zone from (RC) during each battle phase, if you have a vanguard with “Nightrose” in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, Counter Charge (1).

Bale is a Nightrose support unit who countercharges.

One of the best way to use Bale is:

  • Have Bale on RC; King Serpent in the drop zone with any other card.
  • Stride into G4 Nightrose.
  • When you attack with Nightrose, CB2 to call King Serpent over Bale and another card.
  • Bale triggers, CC1
  • King Serpent triggers, CC1/SC1

This way, you can negate Nightrose’s cost, and as a plus, get a soulcharge.

G-BT06-040-R.png

Witch Doctor of the Powdered Bone, Negrobone

[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1:[Counter Blast (1)] At the end of the battle that this unit boosted a rearguard, if you have a vanguard with “Nightrose” in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, retire the unit that was boosted during this battle, choose a card from your drop zone with the hollow ability, and call it to (RC).

Negrobone. He combos pretty well with a hollow unit, especially Gast Dragon and Negrorook.

Combo Scenario :

  • Have GB1 active, Nightrose vanguard, Negrorook in drop
  • Have a Hollowed Gast Dragon in the same column as Negrobone
  • Attack with a boost from Negrobone
  • Mill two
  • Total Power: 11k + 3k +  5k + 7k =26k
  • Retire Gast Dragon
  • Call Gast again for mill two 19k attack or Negrorook for a 16k attack.

Also has 22k attack with Gianmario which increases pressure on the opponent.

Grade 2 :

G-BT08-088.png

Handsomeness, Gianmario

[AUTO]:Hollow (When this unit is placed on (RC), you may have it become hollowed. If you do, retire it at the end of turn)
[AUTO] Generation Break 1:When this unit is placed on (RC) from your drop zone, until end of turn, this unit gets [Power]+3000, and “[AUTO](RC):When this unit’s attack hits a vanguard, Counter Charge (1)/Soul Charge (1).”. Then, if this unit is hollowed, this unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn.

Gianmario is a good pressure unit. Alone, it is a 15k attack, and when boosted, a 22k attack. His on-hit grants you a soulcharge and a countercharge, thus refilling cost for a Negrolazy or Goauche.

g-td08-007

Witch Doctor of the Rotten Sea, Negrorook

[AUTO]:Hollow (When this unit is placed on (RC), you may have it become hollowed. If you do, retire it at the end of turn)
[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1 (Active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone):When this unit attacks, this unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of that battle, and if this unit is hollowed, this unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of that battle.

A hollow unit, and a 16k beatstick. Pretty much self explanatory. Makes 21k columns with a 7k booster.

pr-0256

King Serpent

[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (RC) from your drop zone, Soul Charge (1), choose a card from your damage zone, and turn it face up.

Cost Recharger. Countercharges and soulcharges when placed on RC from drop zone. He can easily refill the cost of G4 Nightrose with Bale, as I explained in Bale’s section

g-bt06-019-rr

Witch Doctor of Languor, Negrolazy

[AUTO]:Hollow (When this unit is placed on (RC), you may have it become hollowed. If you do, retire it at the end of turn)
[AUTO] Generation Break 1:[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (RC), if you have a vanguard with “Nightrose” in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one grade 2 or less card from your drop zone not named “Witch Doctor of Languor, Negrolazy”, call it to (RC), and until end of turn, this unit gets [Power]+2000 and “[AUTO]:When this unit is put into the drop zone from (RC) due to the effect of a hollow ability, Counter Charge (1)/Soul Charge (1).”.

Negrolazy is an important part of the deck. He’s a Glimmer Clone. Good call targets for him are Negrorook, Gast Dragon, King Serpent, Nightstorm . He also refills his own cost if you let him retire by Hollow.

Combo Scenario :

  • Have unit on RC, GB1 active, have Nightrose vanguard.
  • Stride into any unit
  • Call him to RC from Drop
  • Pay his cost.
  • Call a G2, preferably Negrorook or King Serpent to repay Lazy’s cost.
  • At turn end, retire Negrolazy via hollow, and CC1/SC1

Grade 3 :

G-TD08-004-RRR.png

Vampire Princess of Night Fog, Nightrose

[AUTO](VC)[1/Turn] Generation Break 2:[Put three cards from the top of your deck into the drop zone] When your rear-guard is put into the drop zone, you may pay the cost. If you do, you may call that card to (RC).
[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] During your turn, when your G unit Stride, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one card from your drop zone, call it to (RC), and that unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of turn.

Your main ride. The card you want to be on when you Stride. Stride into Obadiah, set up your drop zone with cards like Gast Dragon, Negrolazy, King Serpent, Negrobone or Nightstorm. If you set up correctly, your late game becomes more pressurizing on your opponent.

Taking Q & A from the wiki :

Q. I Stride over “Vampire Princess of Night Fog, Nightrose“. When the turn ends, I retire a Unit due to “Hollow”, can I Call that Unit with the Generation Break 2 of “Vampire Princess of Night Fog, Nightrose“?

A. Yes, you can. Because they’re Retired due to “Hollow“, the timing occurs after a G Unit returns to the G Zone.
Q. I call “Undying Departed, Grenache” due to the Generation Break 2 of “Vampire Princess of Night Fog, Nightrose“. If I declare “Hollow” at this time, do I retire “Undying Departed, Grenache“?

A. Yes, you can Retire it. If a Unit is Called during the End Phase and enters “Hollow” State, it Retires during that same End Phase. So if you Call an “Undying Departed, Grenache” (with “Vampire Princess of Night Fog, Nightrose“) that was Retired due to “Hollow“, and you Retire it again by declaring “Hollow”, you can use its Counter Charge 2 Auto Ability twice during your turn.

g-bt06-009-rrr

Ghoul Dragon. Gast Dragon

[AUTO]:Hollow (When this unit is placed on (RC), you may have it become hollowed. If you do, retire it at the end of turn)
[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1:[Put two cards from the top of your deck into the drop cards from the top of your deck into the drop zone] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of that battle. Then, if this unit is hollowed, this unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of that battle.
[ACT](Drop Zone):[Counter Blast (1) & Choose one of your grade 2 or greater rear-guards, and retire it] Call this card to (RC).

Gast Dragon alone can hit 19k, with a boost, he can hit 16k. Put simply, he’s a very powerful beatstick. He can become very dangerous in the mid to late game. Also, you can even call him on RC if you have any unit you want to replace. But still, do not run more than 2 of him, because milling can hurt this deck.

g-bt06-083-c

Mighty Rogue, Nightstorm

[AUTO]:Hollow (When this unit is placed on (RC), you may have it become hollowed. If you do, retire it at the end of turn)
[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1:[Counter Blast (1)] At the end of the battle that this unit attacked a vanguard, if this unit is hollowed, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one card not named “Mighty Rogue, Nightstorm” from your drop zone, and call it to a (RC) this unit is not on.
[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, look at five cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card with the hollow ability from among them, reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.

Nightstorm’s evolution forme. He combos seriously well with Negrobone.

Combo Scenario :

  • Have GB1 active, hollowed Nightstorm, Negrobone behind him, Negrorook, King Serpent or Gast Dragon in the drop
  • Attack with other column.
  • Attack with Nightstorm w/ boost from Negrobone.
  • Call King Serpent to CC1/SC1; Negrorook or Gast Dragon as beaters, to another column.
  • Replace Nightstorm to get minimum 2 more attacks
  • Total attacks till yet : 4.

You always wanna run at least 1 or 2 of this guy, for multiattacks.

The G Zone :

G-BT06-037-R.png

Ghostie Great King, Obadiah

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (VC), search your deck for up to three cards, put them into your drop zone, shuffle your deck, and if two or more cards with the hollow ability were put into the drop zone with this effect, choose up to one normal unit with “Ghostie” in its card name from the drop zone, and call it to a (RC) in the same column as this unit.

ALL HAIL OBADIAH. The best First Stride. You always want to go into him first and set up your drop zone for future plays. Need Negrobone, Negrorook, Gast Dragon, Nightstorm etc. in the drop ? He’s your go to.

g-bt06-008-rrr

Mist Phantasm Pirate King, Nightrose

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO](VC) Generation Break 2:[Counter Blast (2) & Choose a face down card named “Mist Phantasm Pirate King, Nightrose” from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to two cards from your drop zone, and call them to separate (RC) in different rows.

Nightrose’s G4 form. Helps in finishing games, but is a lot costly (money as well as effect cost) She’s a very good Stride…… who is 25$ a piece. Good luck getting 4. Yeah, but although she’s costly, get her. She helps activate combos, such as calling King Serpent over Bale to repay her skill cost, with an additional soulcharge. Minimum 5-6 attacks are guaranteed.

g-bt08-009

Tempest-calling Pirate King, Goauche

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1) & Choose a face down card named “Tempest-calling Pirate King, Goauche” from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to five cards from your soul, put them into your drop zone, choose the same number of cards from your drop zone as the number of cards put into your drop zone with this effect, call them to separate (RC), and those units get [Power]+1000 for each face up card in your G zone until end of turn.

Goauche is the new powerful Stride from set 08. Why powerful, you ask ? If set up correctly with King Serpent, Gianmario etc, You call call 5 units w/ +1k for each face up G Unit. G4 Nightrose calls 2 units for a CB2. I would have maxed out this Stride, but if you don’t want to deck out, run 2. I often use it to end games, mostly. You can use it as first stride, but you won’t get much power boost.

g-bt08-019

Great Witch Doctor of Banquets, Negrolily

[G guardian] (Usable when both fighters’ vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and the number of face up G guardians in your G zone is three or less)-Opponent Turn’s Guard Step-[Choose a card with “Heal” from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face down.
[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose one of your rear-guards, and retire it] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one normal unit with “Ghostie” in its card name from your drop zone, call it to an open (RC), and this unit gets [Shield]+10000 until end of that battle.

So the reason I run 4 Negrolily is because she is way better than Corpse Dragon. You always have 1 unit that you don’t want on field during your opponents turn.

Combo Scenario :

  • Have Bale on RC, Nightrose as vanguard
  • CB1 and retire Bale.
  • Bale triggers, CC1.
  • Call Bal to RC again via Negrolily’s skill
  • Lily gets +10k shield.

As I stated above, you can use that combo to make Negrolily’s skill only a retire, which, tbh, is not really a problem in Granblue.

Also, I repeat what I stated in Mick the Ghostie and Family’s section :

You cannot call Mick via Negrolily.

Negrolily clearly states : “choose up to one normal unit with “Ghostie” in its card name from your drop zone, call it to an open (RC)”

G-FC03-007.png

Demon Sea Queen, Maread

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC)[1/Turn][Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up & Choose a card from your hand, and discard it] Choose up to the same number of normal units from your drop zone as the number of face up cards named “Demon Sea Queen, Maread” in your G zone with the sum of their grades being 4 or less, call them to separate (RC), and increase this unit’s [Power] by the sum of the original [Power] of the units called with this effect until end of turn

Maread is a kind of last resort option, when you have no other cards to play. Flip as many copies of her as you can w/ Goauche, herself etc. She call call 1 G3,1 G1; 2 G2 or others. Personally, I don’t think this Stride is good. I’ll replace her when chara booster 3 comes out.

So that’s my Granblue deck Profile !

Now, some alternative cards :

  • You can use Colombard instead of King Serpent for more attacks, but as Goauche requires soul, I like Serpent more. Upto user preference.
  • Corpse Dragon also can be used with Negrolily , but I don’t recommend it because Corpse Dragon mills in a deck where you can easily deck out. Still, if you want to run him, use them in ratio 1:3.
  • Skeleton Cannoneer is also a good unit for control. Decrease Gianmario and Negrorook by 1 and include two if you want.

[Royal Paladin] Altmile Brave Deck

G-TD11-013.png

[AUTO]:Forerunner (When a unit of the same clan rides this unit, you may call this unit to (RC))
[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1 (Active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone):[Counter Blast (1) & Put this unit into your soul] At the beginning of each battle phase, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card, and the brave ability of your cards will be always active until end of turn.
[ACT](RC) Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):[[Rest] this unit] Choose one of your units, and it gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn.

I use Alectos as my starter. By using his Generation Break skill, the Brave ability will remian active even if you have three or more cards in your hand. By resting him, his other skill gives a unit +3k .

G-CHB01-Re03.png

[AUTO](RC):[Put this unit into your soul] When your vanguard attacks, if you have a grade 3 or greater vanguard with “Altmile” in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card, choose one of your vanguards, and it gets [Power]+5000 until end of that battle.

Altmile’s Personal Critical, Belenus goes to the soul when your vanguard with Altmile in it’s name attacks another vanguard, in exchange for a 5k power boost to the vanguard and drawing a card

G-CHB01-053.png

AUTO] Generation Break 1 (Active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone): When this unit is placed on (RC), choose up to another two of your units, and you may have those units get [Power]+3000 until end of turn. If you do, return this unit to your deck, and shuffle your deck.

Encourage Angel is a stand trigger, whose skill activates when a unit is placed on RC. For giving + 3k to two of your units, it returns itself to the deck.

Grade 1 :

g-chb01-013

[CONT]:Sentinel
[AUTO]:[Choose a card from your hand, and discard it] When this unit is placed on (GC) from hand, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your units that is being attacked, and it cannot be hit until end of that battle.
[AUTO] Generation Break 2 Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):When this unit is placed on (GC), if you have a vanguard with “Altmile” in its card name, Soul Charge (1). Then, if the number of cards in your hand is one or less, choose one of your units that is being attacked, and it cannot be hit until end of that battle.

Regius is the new perfect guard we got in the character booster. He is one of the best support for Royals, Altmile and more so for Brave. It makes Brave less punishing in terms  of defense.

He has two skills; the first is the usual Perfect Guard Skill, and the second skill may turn him into a free perfect guard. He soulcharges one card when placed on Guardian Circle,  and if you have any Altmile as vanguard and you have one or less cards in hand, he cannot nullify any attack, be it on your vanguard or rearguard. This card is a good counter against VMAX, Kaiser builds

g-chb01-028

[AUTO] Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):When this unit is placed on (RC) due an effect from cards, if you have a vanguard with “Altmile” in its card name, this unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.

A power gainer card, gets +5k when placed on RC and have an Altmile Vanguard. Combos well with cards that bounce cards to hand

G-CHB01-Re01.png

[AUTO]:[Choose a grade 3 card from your hand, and reveal it] When this unit is placed on (RC) from hand, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one grade 3 card with “Altmile” in its card name, reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, shuffle your deck, choose a card from your hand, and discard it.
[CONT](Hand):While you are paying the cost for Stride, this card gets grade+2. .

General Stride Fodder, not much say about it. Gets Grade +2 while paying cost for Stride, and get Altmile in hand by revealing a Grade 3 and discarding a card.

pr-0499

[CONT](RC) Generation Break 1 Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):If you have a vanguard with “Altmile” in its card name, this unit gets [Power]+3000.
[CONT](Deck):If you have a vanguard with “Altmile” in its card name, this card gets grade+1.

Selim is another support card for Altmile. It gets Grade +1 when in deck, as before Royals were more focused on calling Grade 2s to the field. His second skill gives +3k to himself if you have acheived Brave and have Altmile as your vanguard.

g-td11-010

[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1 (Active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone) Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):[Retire this unit] At the end of your turn, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card, and Counter Charge (2).

This card comes in the new TD. This is a good mean of recharging, as Altmile as a whole tends to burn through counterblasts. With all the new support, Brave is not being so hard to acheive with Selfes and Alectos. For retiring itself at the end of the turn, she countercharges 2.

Grade 2 :

G-CHB01-012.png

[CONT](RC) Generation Break 2 Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):During your turn, all of the other units in your front row get [Power]+3000.
[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (RC) due to an effect from cards, if you have a vanguard with “Altmile” in its card name, this unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn. Then, if you have a face up card in your G zone, choose a card from your hand, and you may discard it. If you do, this unit gets “boost” until end of turn.

Redon is another good card this booster gave us. His CONT skill gives all units in the front row except himself +3k power. His on call skill gives him +3k power if you have an Altmile vanguard, and then, if you have a face up G-Unit in the G Zone, by discarding a card, he gets Boost. Really useful card, because of that pseudo – Airmile power boost.

g-chb01-006

[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1:[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one card with the brave ability, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and until end of turn, that unit gets “[AUTO](RC) Brave:When this unit’s attack hits a vanguard, you may return this unit to your hand.”.

The third Royal Paladin RRR this chara booster. When he attacks a vanguard, by paying a counterblast and a soulblast, he calls another card with the brave ability and gives it a bounce skill. The bounce skill activates when the called unit’s attack hits. A good card, would be even better if he himself had Brave

g-bt06-003en-rrr

Suleiman has been a staple since G-BT06. Since the Chara booster dropped, he has become another good card. His skills are : +3k all time if you have an Altmile vanguard and have acheived Brave ; second skill is when he atttacks, by counterblasting one and discarding a card, he calls another Grade 2 unit to RC. Useful for making more attacks.

g-chb01-045

[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (VC) or (RC), you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one card with the brave ability, call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck.

Altmile’s best early game unit. Guaranteed pressure on your opponent if you ride this card. On-ride or call, by paying a counterblast and a soulblast, he can a card with the Brave ability to RC. Pretty much self explanatory.

Grade 3 :

G-TD11-003-RRR.png

[CONT](VC) Generation Break 2:During your turn, all of your units in your front row get [Power]+5000.
[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] During your turn, when your G unit Stride, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to two cards from your hand, call them to separate (RC), choose up to two of your units, and those units get [Power]+5000 until end of turn.

The OG Altmile. Running three ’cause space was tight. Anyways, Shion’s (previous) avatar, he has two good skills. His GB2 gives all units in the front row +5k. His on-stride skill, by paying a counterblast, gives you the ability to call upto two cards from your hand, choose any two units, and give them power +5k. Really good unit, because of that call from hand clause.

g-chb01-005

[AUTO](VC) Generation Break 2 Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):When this unit attacks, choose up to five of your rear-guards, and they get [Power]+4000 until end of turn.
[AUTO](VC):At the beginning of your ride phase, choose up to one card from your hand, call it to (RC), and that unit gets [Power]+4000 until end of turn.
[AUTO](VC):During your turn, when your G unit Stride, choose up to one card from your hand, call it to (RC), choose one of your units with the brave ability, and it gets [Power]+4000 until end of turn.

Shion’s new avatar and another much appreciated card, because of being costless. He has three skills. His Brave GB2 gives +4k to 5 rearguards; at the beginning of the ride phase, he can call a card from hand an give it +4k;  and the on-stride skill calls a card from hand to RC, and you choose a unit with Brave, give it +4k.

That’s the main deck.

Now, the G-Zone :

g-bt08-s14

[Stride] (Released when both players’ vanguards are grade 3 or greater!)-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO]:[Choose a face down card named “Aerial Divine Knight, Altmile” from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, until end of turn, this unit gets “[CONT](VC):All of your units in your front row get [Power]+3000.”. Then, if the number of face up cards in your G zone is 2 or more, search your deck for up to one grade 2 card, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.

Airmile is one of the best generic Strides in Royal Paladin. Always run 4 of him. On-Stride, by G-persona flipping himself, he continuously gives +3k to the front row. Then, if you have 2 or more face up cards in the G Zone, he calls one unit from the deck.

  g-td11-001-rrr

(This card cannot be in your main deck)
[Stride] (Released when both players’ vanguards are grade 3 or greater!)-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down. (When this card strides, it gains the power and card name of one heart. At the end of the turn, return it face up)
[AUTO](VC):[Soul Blast (1)] When this unit attacks, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose any number of cards from your hand, bind them face down, choose one of your rear-guards, and it gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn. At the end of that turn, put the cards bound with this effect into your hand.

The best first stride Bravemile (Brave + Altmile) has. When he attacks, for a soulblast, he can bind any number of cards from your hand and give rearguard +5k and return the bound cards to hand at the end of the turn. This helps a lot in setting up Brave.

g-chb01-011

[G guardian] (Usable when both fighters’ vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and the number of face up G guardians in your G zone is three or less)-Opponent Turn’s Guard Step-[Choose a card with “Heal” from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face down.
[CONT](GC) Generation Break 1 Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):This unit gets [Shield]+5000.
[AUTO]:[Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (GC), if you have a vanguard with “Altmile” in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+10000 until end of that battle.

Holy Knight Guardian’s evolved form. By soulblasting one card, she gets shield +10k, and if you have acheived Brave, another +5k. Overall a good G Guardian

pr-0497

[G guardian] (Usable when both fighters’ vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and the number of face up G guardians in your G zone is three or less)-Opponent Turn’s Guard Step-[Choose a card with “Heal” from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face down.
[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (GC), if you have one or more grade 2 rear-guards, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle.

This G Guardian debuted in FC2016. He gets +5k shield if you have 2 or more rearguards.

g-bt08-003

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC) 1/Turn :[Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up & Choose a card from your hand, and discard it] Search your deck for up to one grade 2 card, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and if that unit has the brave ability, draw a card. Until end of turn, this unit gets “[AUTO](VC) Generation Break 3 Brave:When this unit attacks, if you have a face up card named “Blazing Sword, Fides” in your G zone, choose one of your opponent’s rear-guards, retire it, choose up to two of your units, and they get [Power]+5000 until end of turn.”.

Fides….. is kinda a good unit. By flipping a card in the G Zone and discarding a card, you can search the deck for a grade 2 card and call it. If that unit has the Brave ability, you draw a card and, when Fides attacks, If you have acheived GB3 and Brave, he gives +5k to 2 units and retires one of your opponent’s rearguards.

g-bt08-s13

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC) 1/Turn Generation Break 2:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] If you have a heart card with “Altmile” in its card name, this unit gets “[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks a vanguard, search your deck for up to one grade 2 card, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.” and “[CONT](VC):During your turn, all of the units in your front row get [Power]+2000 for each face up card named “Aerial Divine Knight, Altmile” in your G zone.”.

Transmile is the Mastered Form of Altmile. If you have an Altmile heart, he gets two skills : When he attacks a vanguard, call a card from deck and give it +5k; and for each face up Airmile in the G Zone, he gives the front row +2k continuously.

g-chb01-001-sgr

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.

If you do, search your deck for up to three cards with the brave ability, call them to separate (RC), shuffle your deck, choose a card from your hand for each called unit, and discard it. (If your hand has less cards than the called number, discard all of them)
[AUTO](VC) Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):When your unit attacks, that unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of that battle.

Brave Lancer was arguably the best GR of the three. By counterblasting one during Brave, he lets you call upto three units to RC from deck, and for each called card, discard a card from hand. This skill essentially nets you three more attacks. The best strategy during Brave Lancer turns is having no hand when you attack with him, so giving you three more attacks for no discard. He also gives +3k to a unit when it attacks.

So, this is my Altmile decklist. Feel free to comment.

Also, some tips :

  • For a Brave Lancer turn, use Knight of Powercharge to bind your hand before the battle phase. Thus you need not call your units to deplete your hand.
  • Have Warlock of Damascus or Soniccgal on rearguard circle and activate either Alectos or Powercharge, for a countercharging.

Thats all for now

Currently, I own :

I will start to post decklists, set analysis, and some off topic blogs etc. from today. Will start with my Murakumo decklist, followed by analysis of TRY3 NEXT
